WHAT! Looking for bike donations

As you have probably realised, bicycles and cycling has increased due to the good weather and people being bored and needing an extra activity apart from drinking and walking.

The bike trade has been feeling this upturn with a huge number of bikes being dragged out the back of the shed and into bikes shops all over the country.

At the beginning of lockdown we decided to stay open as we are based outdoors and the market was allowed to trade by the local authority. We came up with the idea to offer all bike repairs on a donation basis, not just for key workers but for everybody that wanted to get out and cycle, as the benefits of exercise for your health is essential in these lockdown times and as we have seen, bikes are a great solution to some of the lockdown problems that we face.

To fund our donation based bike repairs we have been asking for donations of your old bicycles, the ones not worthy to get out from the back of that shed. We show them love and get them back on the road ready for another round of journeys. So if you have any old bikes, any condition, we can collect from you and get them reconditioned and on to a new owner.

We would also like to thank all our great customers that have shown so much love and a big shout out to Kevin Price and the Vegan market crew for serving the people pf Notts.

We hope that the upturn in cycling will continue and free our streets of pollution and let our lungs breathe, now more than ever we need healthy lungs!
